Arctic air still is residing over the area, making conditions incredibly cold. In fact, we didn’t see temperatures above freezing today, and they will continue to drop well below freezing tonight. Gloves, hats, and layers in general will be your friend tonight as winds continue to make conditions feel even colder. Stay inside unless it’s absolutely necessary!
On the contrary, Saturday is looking like a typical January day – temperatures climbing into the upper 30s with lows not straying too far below it. Sunday however, we are looking very pleasant! Temperatures climb into the upper 40s to even the lower 50s, but winds are looking to be quite blustery so definitely don’t be too quick to hang up the coat. Overall, we are looking for a pleasant weekend with temperatures on the rise, but wind chills make conditions feel much chillier.
