Forecast Discussion

Showers and thunderstorms will return to SE Ohio tomorrow. The Storm Prediction Center currently has SE Ohio under a slight risk (2/5) for severe weather. Main threats include damaging winds and heavy rain. However, an isolated tornado is possible, though unlikely. Scattered showers are anticipated throughout the day, but the stronger cells will be in the evening. Another possibly strong round is likely early Sunday morning with the passage of the cold front. However, models are still in disagreement about this. Temperatures will drop into the upper-70s/low-80s Monday as the cool air settles in and sunny skies will return and persist through at least mid-next week.
