Forecast Discussion

The forecast seems to be a broken record. Sunny yet hazy skies will continue through the weekend with warm temperatures in the 80s during the day and the low 50s during the night. Tonight will be near 50 F with clear skies. Despite the clear skies, smoke from the Canadian fires will still be in the air, so try and limit outdoor exposure tonight and into Saturday. Those hazy skies will stick around through the day Saturday with a high in the mid 80s. Saturday night, the smoke should begin clearing out with mostly clear skies and a low in the mid 50s. Sunday, much of the haze should be gone as an approaching low pressure system forces things out of the way. Unfortunately, the low pressure system will also bring rain chances with showers and thunderstorms possible in the afternoon on Sunday.

Rain chances will continue into next week as temperatures in the mid-70s and abundant moisture could fuel any peak-heating storms.
