Low-pressure temporarily remains in our area bringing clouds and cooler temperatures to Athens overnight tonight.  Saturday’s high will be 45 degrees and clouds will begin to clear in the mid-afternoon hours as a result of an incoming high-pressure system. As a large area of high-pressure begins to move in, warm air will follow bringing warmer temperatures to the region. As a result, a gradual warm up can be expected Sunday into Monday. As the week progresses, expect daytime temperatures reaching well above seasonal averages with highs in the low to mid 70s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
