High pressure is in control for our area with clear skies and falling temperatures as of this evening with values dropping into low-mid 20’s by early Saturday morning. This high pressure will move eastward with increased cloud coverage through the day on Saturday with temperatures return back to near normal values with light southerly flow. There is another cold front approaching closer to our area as we head into Saturday night into Sunday morning with rain starting to move back into our area by early Sunday morning. Rainfall is expected to continue through much of the day on Sunday with slightly breezy conditions as well with cold front itself passing through our area by around midnight Monday. Rain totals look to be around 0.5″ inch with isolated higher amounts possible as well. Look for temperatures to fall during overnight hours with early high’s in lower 40’s which drops into 30’s with continued breezy conditions for our day on Monday. Wind chills will be in the 20’s on Monday as of result with skies clearing a little during the day. Tuesday will be another chilly day before we warm up during mid-week period once again.
