Forecast Discussion

High pressure is going to linger tonight and tomorrow. Skies should clear slightly into the afternoon Saturday and temperatures will warm into the upper-40s. Another low-pressure system will move in Sunday forcing overcast skies to resume. A strong cold front will move through during the evening and overnight hours and will bring widespread showers. Precipitation looks to remain as rain for SE Ohio, but there is a small chance that it may become mixed. Up to a tenth of an inch of rain is expected from this system and showers should subside by the late morning on Monday.

For the start of the work week highs will be much cooler, in the low 40s due to the passage of the cold front. Overnight lows will be also lower than what we have seen thus far, in the upper teens and low 20s, so please be prepared. Partly cloudy skies are expected for the beginning of the week.
