High pressure area will continue to dominate over central Appalachians region through rest of this weekend with plenty of sunshine and dry conditions. We will still deal with hot and humid conditions over next couple of days as upper level ridge has settled over our area with highs in mid-upper 80’s with lows in low-mid 60’s. As we head into early next week period, gulf moisture will makes its way into our area and we will start to see increased risk of showers and thunderstorms by this time. Chances of showers and thunderstorms is likely on Tuesday as we will have a strong cold front push into our area out ahead of a trough which will last into early Wednesday. By middle of next week, much cooler temperatures will make its way into our area.
