Forecast Discussion

Areas of dense fog are likely between the early hours of Saturday morning through 10am. High pressure will continue to linger over the area this weekend, keeping conditions pleasant and temperatures in the low 80s.  The high pressure will move out due to an upper level trough that will be digging into the Midwest. Southwesterly flow will become more active, increasing the chance of showers for the beginning of the work week. These chances will lie ahead of the strong cold front that will arrive in the area, also causing temperatures to drop in the mid to low 60s. Models indicate the timing for the cold front will be between Monday and Tuesday night.
