While a warm front moved through earlier today bringing some rain, the chances of for severe weather has diminished a bit. The SPC has issued a marginal risk for severe weather this evening. The main threats will be large hail, damaging winds, and a possible isolated spin up. Some storms can bring localized flooding, so be aware of roadways as well. This is all due to a cold front that will be moving through the Ohio Valley tonight as a mature and occluded low-pressure system progresses eastward. On Tuesday, conditions will become drier, but some showers and storms can linger due to the low-pressure system but will be more localized and nothing severe.

Temperatures will be slightly cooler in the upper-70s on Tuesday which is slightly below normal for this time of year. A high-pressure system will move through and remain on Wednesday and Thursday with pleasant conditions. However, Thursday night, a weak cold front will move through from a system to our north which can bring the possibility for some showers. A stronger high-pressure system will move in heading into the weekend as an upper-level ridge begins dominating and steadily increase temperatures.
