Forecast Discussion
A low pressure system pushing east across Canada and an associated cold front will bring showers and thunderstorms to the area. Some storms could be strong to severe, with the main threats being damaging winds and heavy downpours. Precipitation should clear out by late Tuesday morning as the front moves through. High pressure will then begin to build in, bringing drier air and daytime temperatures upwards of 90 by Wednesday. Precipitation chances look likely to return on Thursday, as a stationary front will dip south over the area, returning showers and thunderstorms to the forecast. Moisture will linger even after the system passes, so chances for showers and isolated thunderstorms will remain heading into the weekend.
