Forecast Discussion

Periods of rain showers will be likely tonight as a low pressure system out of the Central Plains region approaches our area. Scattered showers and a possible thunderstorm will remain in the forecast on Tuesday, with the heavier cloud coverage keeping temperatures near 80. A cold front will then swing through Tuesday evening, with the final rounds of rain exiting the region by Wednesday morning. Slightly cooler than average temperatures will continue through the end of the work week, with high pressure helping to keep us dry. Only a slight chance for rain exists Friday night with a weak cold frontal boundary moving through, but conditions will most likely stay dry through Saturday.
