While skies remain clear and calm, the hot temperatures return tomorrow, with a high around 96 degrees expected. A few clouds may move in and out, and some scattered storms along a cold front further north have a slim chance of swinging a quick pop up shower or thunderstorm throughout the afternoon. Otherwise, the frontal passage will serve to cool down our temperatures overnight on Thursday, in addition to moving a few more clouds into the area. Thursday, therefore, will be back down to a high around 87 degrees, with again an isolated storm still having a minimal chance of passing through.

Our area will enter another stretch of calm and warm weather into the weekend, with temperatures hanging around 90 degrees with partly cloudy skies. A fairly large trough may begin to take hold by Saturday, serving to introduce some much cooler temperatures in the mid to low 80s. The high pressure that will take hold will keep things quite relaxed, with calm, sunny weather being the highlight of the upcoming weekend.
