Tonight, clouds will increase as a strong low pressure system moves into the area overnight, with rain beginning after midnight along a warm front. This rain will be steady throughout most of Tuesday, accumulating up to an inch or so and tapering off in the late afternoon. Clouds will still persist, and another round of showers will begin in the late evening on account of the passing cold front. Around this time will winds be maximized, gusting up to 40 mph and sustaining between 20-25 mph throughout most of the day. As this cold front passes through, temperatures will plummet, and snow will begin to mix in around the early morning hours of Wednesday. Eventually, scattered flurries will dominate as post-frontal precipitation, which will last through Wednesday morning into the afternoon without any accumulation.

A quick break in the wet weather is possible on Thursday, with high pressure briefly returning to make for a partly cloudy and calm day in the upper 40s. However, another low pressure system following a very similar track as this approaching storm will move into the area Friday, delivering more rain accumulating up to an inch throughout Friday and into early Saturday, eventually leaving more post-frontal flurries in its wake alongside quite strong winds.
