Another beautiful day has come and gone, and unfortunately, it will get plenty more hot as the week continues. Overnight tonight, a few clouds can be seen coming and going, and will likely clear out by the morning hours of Tuesday. A strong ridge has been building, and this will keep pressure high while also funneling in more warm and moist air into the area, making for a high in the upper 80s amidst sunny skies. Conditions remain calm overnight, though an approaching frontal system will likely serve to break up this pattern in the later half of the week.

Wednesday will see more partly cloudy skies, with a high in the lower 90s, and relative humidity values around 60%. This will put heat index values potentially past 100 degrees, so take extra caution during this time. The destabilization due to the hot and moist conditions will allow for some storms to fire up during the morning hours of Thursday, continuing as a few rounds of storms as the cold front passes through. For the time being, a Marginal Risk of severe weather is present, but due to the longer range of this forecast, and the variable nature of this system, the timing and impacts of these storms are subject to change. Even throughout Friday, a few more scattered storms are possible, though by Saturday, calmer weather will have settled in again. Despite the passage of a cold frontal system, temperatures will continue to hang around in the upper 80s during this time as well.
