Forecast Discussion

A fairly stagnant troughing pattern has developed over much of the eastern United States, which in turn has promoted southerly flow to bring in some more moisture to keep things overcast for the next few days. Tonight may see some partial clearing, but clouds return tomorrow, with possibly a few breaks in the cover here and there. Overnight Tuesday, a few isolated rain showers may develop from a stationary front to our south. These showers may pop in and out on Wednesday as well, but will hardly be disruptive.

Temperatures into the later week remain in the upper 80s until a weak cold front moves through the area on Thursday. This front may kick up a few showers, and a very slight cooldown to the mid 80s is possible as well. Most notably, this front will finally push out much of the clouds and keep things sunny and dry from Friday into Saturday.
