Forecast Discussion

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from now until June 19, 02:00 AM EDT

A persistent wet and rainy pattern continues for much of the work week as a stationary front will meander around the Ohio Valley region. A line of showers and storms will roll through SE Ohio tonight and tomorrow, with periods of heavy to moderate rain likely. Rain chances look to diminish late Tuesday night, but scattered rain will return for Wednesday, with another wave of showers and storms likely Wednesday night. The stationary front will shift further south by Friday, providing the only day out of the work week where SE Ohio is likely stay dry. However, this frontal boundary shifts back to the north on Saturday, likely bringing back more scattered showers and thunderstorms to Athens throughout the weekend.
