We are currently under an Excessive Heat Warning, as per the National Weather Service. This warning will last until 8 PM EST on Wednesday. The excessive heat that we are dealing with right now is due to a massive ridge, which has taken up the entire central and eastern US. This ridge will stick around for the foreseeable future, but the intensity of this ridge will be around for only the next couple of days. Regardless, please stay hydrated, limit the amount of time you spend outside, and find other ways to keep you cool inside your home, whether you have AC, or if you have no AC, use a fan of some sort and/or maybe open your windows at night to have some air flow.

Broadly, over the next several days, there will be some chances of precipitation Wednesday through Saturday, and those chances get increasingly more likely the closer we get to the weekend. Cloud cover will be relatively low to moderate despite these precipitation chances, with the cloud cover ranging from Clear to Partly Cloudy. For the high temperatures, it will consistently be in the low to mid 90s over the next several days with tomorrow being the highest. The low temperatures will also be super consistent, with lows in the low 70s.
