Another quiet evening is set to close out today’s calm weather, with completely clear skies present overnight. Tomorrow, however, will be hot and partly cloudy, with a high near 90 degrees, so be sure to dress light and stay hydrated! More clouds will begin to move in as Tuesday evening continues, signaling the approach of another frontal system. This time, a low pressure center stationed high into Canada will swing a broad-spanning cold front across much of the Midwest, which is set to arrive in the afternoon of Friday. Thus far, no severe threat has been noted by the Storm Prediction Center, though with a humble amount of instability and marginal shear, this may be subject to change. Regardless, these scattered storms won’t last beyond the early evening, and will then usher in a few more days of calmer and cooler weather.

Thursday will see temperatures still in the mid 80s, though by Friday, temperatures will be back down to the high 70s, and this will continue through Saturday as well. During this time, skies will only see a few clouds, and even though pressure still remains somewhat low, the cut-off low spiraling north of us will be far enough away to where it will not affect us. Get ready for some rain on Wednesday, but enjoy the nice weather that will follow!
