Forecast Discussion
High pressure will continue to sit over our area, keeping us dry and cold tonight and tomorrow. However, this will change as a large low pressure system approaches our region. Clouds will roll in and persist throughout tomorrow ahead of the warm front. This front will pass Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, with a round of late showers possible as it just clips us. With the frontal passage, temps will surge into the mid to upper 70s Wednesday with winds gusting up to 25mph. This could prompt a fire risk as we will remain dry throughout the day before the line of rain associated with the cold front passes through Wednesday night into Thursday. Guidance suggests the line will start to break when it reaches the SE OH region, so severe weather is not expected at this time. Some wrap-around showers could affect us into Thursday morning before high pressure sets in again for Friday. Rain could make a comeback to start off the weekend with a much smaller disturbance before we dry out again.
