Forecast Discussion

A shortwave approaching our area currently will bring a line of light rain showers over the next hour. Another disturbance will also result in some scattered showers overnight, but things should clear up by tomorrow morning. Cold, dry air will move in behind these showers as high pressure builds in throughout tomorrow and into Wednesday. This will clear our cloud cover into tomorrow evening, opening us up to some very low temperatures. We’ll dip down into the upper 20s throughout midweek, with widespread frost expected. Highs will be near 50. Another weak disturbance approaches Thursday, but with high pressure firmly in place the chances of getting precip are slim to none. Other areas (primarily to our NE) may see their first flurries of snow!
