Forecast Discussion

Our weather has taken a turn for the beautiful for October! High pressure is setting in, bringing a clear night to our area. In the morning, temperatures will rapidly increase as the sun rises, making for some morning fog, especially near the Hocking River. This will dissipate as the morning continues, and temperatures will rise all the way to the mid 70s, quite abnormal for this time of year! High pressure will continue to make Tuesday warm and calm, with only a few clouds in the sky.

Tuesday evening will see increasing clouds, becoming overcast after midnight as a stationary front draws closer to the Midwest. Wednesday will have minimal breaks in the clouds, though temperatures still remain warm. This pattern of mostly cloudy weather will continue even into the early weekend, as pressure drops and a chance of rain develops on Saturday. Though, for a stretch of almost a week, enjoy temperatures in the mid-to-high 70s.
