Thursday a low-pressure system will move into the area and increase cloud cover for the day. Thursday should remain dry through the afternoon hours. However, a cold front is expected to pass by Thursday evening and will bring rain showers and significantly cooler air to the region. Widespread rain showers are anticipated to continue through Friday evening. Saturday morning should be dry for the Homecoming parade, but by the afternoon light showers will return for the football game. Additionally, temperatures will be quite chilly with only a high in the low 60s expected.
