Forecast Discussion

The showers and thunderstorms to our north driven by a cold front may move into the region tonight, bringing some isolated downpours and cloudiness. The front will then pull northeast as high pressure settles into the area. Clear, dry conditions are expected for the remainder of the work week, which could bring our daytime temps near 90. A closed upper level low will be forming over the Four Corners region this week. As it moves east and merges with the jet stream this weekend, the cold air associated with it will push into our region, igniting showers and storms Saturday.
