Forecast Discussion

More clouds will arrive tonight as another low pressure system tracks into our region later. With the warm front arriving in the morning, rain will be very likely through the morning and into the afternoon, where it will taper off before the evening. Rainfall could total to about half an inch or so. While this rain will not be particularly heavy, it may certainly be a nuisance. The cold front attached to this system will likely move through in the later afternoon and into the early evening, leaving clouds overnight on Sunday.

Monday will see blustery winds with gusts up to 30 mph, and our first real chance of accumulating snow due to much cooler temperatures and some moisture still present in the area. This snow will only total from a dusting to under an inch, but regardless, prepare to see some flakes during Monday afternoon! The rest of the week will start off cold, but gradually warm back to the high 40s by Thursday. With strong high pressure returning to the area, the week looks to be calm.
