A stationary front over the region bringing rain chances through tonight will transition into a mid-latitude cyclone will lift a warm front through the region tomorrow. The subsequent cold frontal passage tomorrow will bring some threat of severe weather as the SPC has issued a Marginal Risk for severe weather, largely due to a marginal threat of severe hail with some storms. This is due to elevated instability with some thunderstorms. Daytime high temperatures are not expected to drop much thanks to this system not being very strong.

Another stationary front will set up over the region bringing rain chances through Monday, but as a mature low-pressure system makes its way through on Tuesday and Wednesday, more severe weather is possible. At this time the main threat is unclear, but at least expect damaging wind gusts and a threat of severe hail. Make sure to have a plan in case of severe weather, and stay tuned to updates as the short-range models grasp this system better. A cool down is expected also dropping highs from the 60s and 70s into the low 50s. Past Tuesday and Wednesday, rain and clouds will stick around as this occluded system stalls out.
