Forecast Discussion

Dry weather will persist through tonight before a coastal low pressure system brings chances for showers and isolated thunderstorms to close out Memorial Day Weekend. No severe storms are expected to develop, as instability will be limited. If anything, the main threat will be heavy downpours. Flooding will not be a concern, however, with the recent dry weather pattern. This coastal low will then exit off to the east early next week, cutting off any remaining chances for precipitation, with upper level ridging taking hold once again. This will promote dry weather for much of the week and a warming trend, with temperatures reaching into the low 90s!
