A strong low pressure system approaches. Clouds tonight will increase, becoming completely overcast by the morning hours. A few drizzles of rain may be possible in the morning, but by the mid-afternoon, rain is very likely to roll in along a cold front. This rain will continue into the evening hours. As the evening progresses, though, temperatures will drop significantly, to the point where a rain-snow mix is possible after midnight. Don’t expect any accumulations, however.

By Monday, temperatures will have fallen into the upper 30s for a high, and this arctic blast is expected to hang around into the mid-week. Temperatures on Tuesday will be slightly colder than Monday, but stronger winds will make temperatures feel even chillier. A few flurries are possible in the beginning of the week as well, as post-frontal precipitation brought on by the colder temperatures will pop in and out. Pressure will continue to build, however, and temperatures will rise back to the 50s by the later week amidst partly cloudy and calm weather.
