Forecast Discussion
Today closes with partly cloudy skies persisting overnight. The upper-level ridging pattern still continues, keeping conditions stable and hot. Tomorrow will see a few clouds dotting the sky periodically, with temperatures around 90. High pressure continues, meaning a lack of rain will likely persist for the next few days. These conditions don’t mean that humidity won’t linger in the area, however, as some moisture pushed into the region will make for some uncomfortable heat indexes as our week continues.
Sunday evening will see clear skies overnight, with Monday following a similar pattern as today. Sunny skies and hot temperatures will be a staple of this week as the ridge continues to dominate our weather patterns. A break from the heat is possible around Thursday, however, as a potential cutoff low will enter the region, developing more of a troughing pattern and bringing about some scattered showers and a possible thunderstorm alongside more seasonable temperatures.
