Forecast Discussion

Clouds continue tonight as the evening approaches, and will continue into tomorrow. A trough currently stationed over the Midwest to East Coast will persist, leaving a few stationary fronts to hover around much of the eastern United States, including Southeastern Ohio. Some spotty showers are possible Sunday, mainly in the morning and evening hours, with clouds dominating the skies still. The trough will eventually weaken, though, and these conditions won’t stay here forever.

Sunday evening will see breaks in the clouds overnight, becoming partly cloudy after midnight. Higher pressure will briefly take hold, making Monday mostly sunny and calm once again. Though, another approaching trough will return clouds after Monday, with another chance of showers persisting through Tuesday afternoon along a cold front. Once the front passes, however, cool temperatures and sunny skies will take hold amidst higher pressure to continue the rest of the week.
