Forecast Discussion
Mostly zonal flow will take place tonight through Monday afternoon. A strong jet streak along with a strong cold front will move overhead Tuesday and spark the chance for potential thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning. Currently, the SPC has SE Ohio in a chance for thunderstorms, but there is a chance that the system may shift east, meaning that we may see stronger impacts, so check back for updates as the date gets closer. During this time, warm air will be advected into the region, so afternoon temperatures are expected to climb into the mid-to-upper 60s. By Thursday, though, the cold air from the cold front will settle into the region, and temperatures will plummet back into the 40s. High pressure will build in, allowing for sunny skies on Thursday and Friday.
