Forecast Discussion

High pressure will allow the skies to remain mostly clear tonight through the afternoon on Monday. One more night of single-digit temperatures is anticipated before we begin to see a rapid warmup. Monday afternoon temperatures will climb into the 40s, and winds will pick up slightly with gusts up to 15 mph. Monday night, cloud cover will begin to increase as a system moves into the area, with a slight chance for rain showers. However, chances will be more substantial Tuesday afternoon.

Temperatures will jump into the mid-50s Wednesday afternoon as we enter the warm sector of the system and will continue to climb into the 60s Thursday. Widespread showers are expected and will continue into Thursday as well. Though most of the heavy rain is anticipated to fall Wednesday. A little over an inch of rain will fall by the end of Thursday. Friday should remain mostly dry with highs in the mid-50s.
