Forecast Discussion

Flood Warning through 5 am Monday, January 29th.

Tonight, a rain/snow mix is anticipated as we see the remaining showers behind the system that has brought us consistent rain showers for the last several days. Winds will be between 10-15 mph, with gusts up to 25 mph. By Monday morning, showers will stop, but cloudy skies will remain as we await the next system. Tuesday evening through early Wednesday morning, a cold front will bring another mixed bag of precipitation. Models are not in complete agreement yet, but it looks as if the precipitation will start off as rain/freezing rain and then eventually turn into snow overnight and be the main form of precipitation.

Wednesday and Thursday, brief high pressure will build in, and precipitation should remain on pause for the time being. Cloud cover will range from partly to mostly cloudy skies. Friday, another cold front will pass through and bring a slight chance for some light rain showers.
