Forecast Discussion

The low-pressure system that has brought multiple rounds of storms to the area the last few days is almost out of our region. A few more showers are expected into the overnight hours as the system heads east. Low temperatures will drop into the mid-60s.

Monday and Tuesday are going to be pleasant and dry as a ridging pattern replaces this weekend’s system. Clear, sunny skies are expected both days with calm winds and high temperatures in the low- to mid-80s.

Wednesday will see similar conditions to Monday and Tuesday, however, temperatures will soar higher nearing 90 degrees. Long-term models suggest that two small shortwave troughs will move through the area Thursday and Friday, bringing back the cloudy skies and the chance for some small showers throughout both days.
