The cold front that has brought rain Sunday is going to continue moving east overnight. SE Ohio will continue to see rain throughout the night tonight as showers linger behind the front. The precipitation will remain as rain for SE Ohio, but some counties to our north and west have the chance to see a few snowflakes. Overcast skies will continue to dominate for the start of the work week as the low-pressure system continues east. Temperatures will plummet Monday night with lows only expected in the upper teens. By Tuesday, high pressure will move into the area and skies will clear. However, afternoon temperatures will only be expected to peak just barely above freezing. Sunday night through Tuesday, windy conditions are expected between 5-15 mph and gusts up to 20 mph. These conditions will likely drop anticipated temperatures across this period as well.

High pressure will continue to dominate Wednesday and Thursday and afternoon temperatures will gradually warm into the upper 40s and low 50s. However, by Friday another system will make its way into the region, and bring another chance for widespread showers.
