Forecast Discussion
High pressure that has been previously placed over our region is moving east into the Appalachians allowing for warm front to progress in from our west. Cloud coverage will increase and southwesterly flow will build delivering high dew point temperatures, thus higher humidity. Monday night into Tuesday, we will be planted in the warm sector of this midlatitude cyclone allowing temperatures Tuesday to reach a near record-breaking high of potentially 80 degrees. A cold front will quickly sweep by Tuesday night into Wednesday cooling our temperatures and bringing the opportunity for a very rainy Wednesday.
