Forecast Discussion

Temperatures will be in the high 50s tonight with clearing skies. High pressure will continue to provide dry and warm conditions on Monday until a low pressure system that is now in the middle of the U.S. shifts east, along with a weak cold front. Current models have the front falling apart as it hits the Ohio River Valley Tuesday afternoon, so precipitation will be left out of the forecast. High pressure will then dominate again over the area for Wednesday, bringing dry and above normal temperatures, with highs in the mid 80s. However, showers are likely late Thursday night through Saturday as the low pressure system moves northeastward, which will push a cold front through. A cool down in temperatures can be expected after the frontal passage beginning Friday night and into the weekend, with highs in the mid 60s.
