Short-term Forecast (Sunday 10/13/2024 through Tuesday 10/15/2024):
An upper level low pressure system is parked over the region bringing cloudy skies and the chance for some precipitation. Winds will be a little gusty at the start of the week before calming down Monday night. An upper level ridge will begin to progress pushing the low pressure system and placing the trough overhead by Wednesday. Temperatures throughout will remain cooler and closer to seasonal norms with daytime highs in the upper 50s and low 60s. Overnight lows will drop into the 40s and possibly upper 30s delivering the chance for some patchy frost in the overnight to early morning hours.
Long-term Forecast (Wednesday 10/16/2024 through Saturday 10/19/2024):
An upper level ridge will move in from the west pushing the low pressure system. The trough will then place itself overhead. Wednesday, skies will begin to clear allowing for some sunshine to peak through. Daytime highs will remain in the 60s and overnight lows will drop into the 30s. The chance for patchy frost will remain for the overnight to early morning hours. Overall, a pleasant end of the week is expected!
