Forecast Discussion

Hazardous Weather Outlook

Tonight will be a dry night with partly cloudy to mostly clear skies before the next system moves in tomorrow. An upper level low along with a cold front will approach the area, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day. The best chance for thunderstorm development will be towards the afternoon/early evening. From this, the area is under a marginal risk, meaning some thunderstorms may contain damaging wind gusts and will possibly be strong enough to produce a tornado or two. Precipitation chances will dissipate by Monday night as the system moves through. Tuesday will have slightly cooler temperatures after the frontal passage, with a high in the mid 50s and a low in the upper 30s. Wednesday will be pleasant thanks to high pressure building into the area before another system moves in, bringing the potential for rain showers to end the work week into the weekend.
