High pressure has been parked over our region for quite some time and is beginning to progress further eastward. A warming trend will occur up through Thursday due to these mostly clear skies. Dry air will progress in dropping our relative humidity values. Unseasonably warm daytime highs are expected over the next couple of days with temperatures stretching to the upper 70s, near 80s. The brakes will be put on this warming trend by Friday when a cold front is anticipated to progress through, potentially delivering some showers in its passage overnight Thursday.
