A cooling trend is thankfully on its way as a mature mid-latitude cyclone continues to move easterly– and with it, a cold front. This cold front has the potential to bring us some showers and thunderstorms Saturday into Saturday night, and with it, a cooldown! Even though the forecasted high is in the upper 80s, it’ll be a much-needed dip in the heat. Labor Day will feel incredible with a high around 78 and sunny skies. Temperatures will stay in the 80s for the remainder of the week into the weekend, and early next week as high pressure moves in.
