Tonight, winds are calm under mostly clear conditions. The dewpoint will be in the low-60s near the low temperature which will result in areas of patchy fog. A ridge will persist over the next couple of days with a high-pressure system over the Ohio Valley. This will continue to bring pleasant conditions with highs in the upper-80s to near 90 and lows in the mid-60s. However, heading into Sunday, the ridge just out to the west will begin to break down and a trough will begin to progress eastward. Associated with the upper-level trough is a shortwave at the 700mb which will drive for producing inclement weather and support forcing for uplift. This is due to a low-pressure system that will progress over the Great Lakes bringing a warm front Sunday evening and a cold front on Monday Evening while the low-pressure system becomes mature and occluded to the north. The NWS has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook stating that there is a possible threat for strong to severe thunderstorms Monday into Monday evening when the cold front moves through. The severity will be updated as Monday comes closer. Once the low-pressure system moves through, there will be clearing and more pleasant conditions on Tuesday with slightly cooler temperatures in the mid-80s under partly cloudy skies.
