Unseasonably beautiful conditions are currently hanging in our area at the moment. Today’s pleasant day will continue with a few clouds overnight, with a brief period of thicker cloud cover in the early morning hours. Friday, however, is slated to be gorgeous, with fully sunny skies and a high around 60 degrees. Breezier conditions are possible as well, due to an approaching low pressure system set to disrupt this calm. Cloud cover will increase on Friday night as this low tracks closer, we will begin to feel the effects of this inclement weather on Saturday.

At a whopping high of 63 degrees, Saturday will be overcast and breezy, with gusts up to 25 mph. A chance of rain grows as the cold front of this system swings closer, and rain will likely be falling Saturday night. This persistent rain will continue through Sunday as well, tapering off around the afternoon. Due to the plummeting temperatures from the rush of cold air moving in, a chance of some snow mixing in with the back end of the rain is possible, though accumulations are unlikely. For the start of the week, temperatures are much colder, in the 40s, and Monday could see some scattered post-frontal flurries throughout the day. Tuesday will see more partly cloudy and calm conditions, however, a trend that will continue for the rest of the week.
