High pressure is to be expected tonight, keeping conditions calm and clear. A few more clouds will begin to move through the area in the morning, creating mostly cloudy conditions throughout most of tomorrow. Pressure will continue to drop on account of a low pressure system further south of our region traveling northeastward, pushing the higher pressure out throughout the end of this week. Friday evening will become completely overcast, and in the early morning hours of Saturday, the chance for a rain/snow mix develops.

Saturday morning will see a mix of disruptive precipitation, including rain, sleet, ice, and snow, begin as early as 5 am. Throughout the morning, this mix will gradually mix out to become more rainy, though by the afternoon, snow can possibly mix back in. If the ground remains cold enough to hold snow, then accumulations could range from a dusting to less than an inch or so of snow. While the lasting impacts from this system may not be severe, the morning commute could be a bit messier due to this storm. This precipitation will taper off by the later afternoon, though Sunday will still see another round of another light rain/snow mix due to the passing low pressure throughout the day. Monday will remain cloudy, and Tuesday will see very wet conditions, with another strong low pressure system to our west swinging their fronts through our area. Rainfall from this storm could total over an inch.
