There is a Marginal Risk for severe weather tonight with the main threats being damaging wind gusts and large hail. On Friday, the NWS has issued a Heat Advisory in effect from 11:00am to 9:00pm. Temperatures will reach the mid-90s with dewpoints in the mid-70s. These humid conditions will allow a heat index to reach as high as 107 degrees. It is advised to drink plenty of water and limit any strenuous outside activities. Due to these muggy conditions, a stray pop-up storm late afternoon cannot be ruled out.

Friday night, the chances for showers and storms will begin to increase as a low-pressure system will make its way through the Ohio Valley Saturday into Sunday. Another marginal risk has been issued on day 3 for Saturday with the main threats including damaging wind gusts and large hail. Some storms can bring potential heavy downpours and can be of risk for flooding. A cold front will move through late Saturday evening into early Sunday morning bringing a relief to the heat and temperatures falling back into the low to mid-80s to start the work week. High-pressure will begin to settle in on Monday and Tuesday bringing more pleasant conditions.
