Forecast Discussion

There will be a slight decrease in temperatures and chances of rain for the next couple days. This is the result of a cold front attached to a low pressure system that has recently moved out of the Ohio area. The lingering effects of this system will last throughout the beginning of the weekend. On Saturday morning a high pressure system will move East into Southern Ohio bringing chances of rain showers for Saturday and Sunday. The high pressure system will pull a warm front through Athens County early next week resulting in temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s as well as chances of scattered thunderstorms on Monday.
