In the early morning hours, before your commute, some scattered showers and possibly a storm are possible as well from a passing cold front, though no severe impacts are likely from these. As the day continues, overcast skies will move out of the area, with some scattered clouds hanging around in the afternoon. A cold front much further west will push some more clouds into the area overnight Friday, and on Saturday, some excess instability in the area could prompt some scattered storms to develop in the afternoon.
