Forecast Discussion

Late tomorrow morning a cold front will pass through the Southeastern Ohio area. Surrounding the passing of this cold front there will be rain showers and chances of thunderstorms that will effect the Athens area starting late tonight and continuing into tomorrow.  A slight decrease in temperature will follow this cold front leaving slightly lower temperatures for this weekend as well as cloudy conditions for the next few days. Saturday afternoon there will be cloudy skies but little to no precipitation until a low pressure system moves into the area early Sunday morning. This low pressure system will bring more rain showers and slight chances of thunderstorms Sunday afternoon with cooler temperatures and showers on Monday.
