Forecast Discussion

Currently, there is a strong cut-off low centered around southeast Ohio and parts of northwest West Virginia. This cut-off low is leading to prolonged periods of rain/snow showers, with snow that started around 10:30 am and continued on and off through the day. These snow showers will continue through 9 pm tonight and into Friday morning.
Friday by 7 pm the cut-off low will move east and start to diminish. Low pressure will remain in the area giving way to rain showers Saturday morning primarily before 9 am. Come Sunday, there will be high pressure that will help clear out some clouds and warmer temperatures with a high of 53. On Monday, a low-pressure system will bring rain showers after 4 pm and into the night. On Tuesday, things will start to clear up bringing nicer weather.
