Those sick of the cold weather have some good news in store – warm air creeping back into the area will keep up a warming pattern all the way through the weekend! Tonight will still be quite cold, with clear skies overnight, though tomorrow will see a high in the low 60s. In addition to it being a cloudless day due to especially prevalent high pressure in our area, Friday is shaping up to be quite a beautiful day. Despite the higher pressure, winds will be quite breezy tomorrow, and an approaching low pressure system, albeit immature, will push some clouds into our area this weekend, starting Friday evening.

Mostly cloudy skies Friday evening will carry on into Saturday as well, though temperatures still remain in the mid to high-60s. No rain is expected from this system despite a fairly steep trough, so the only notable pattern change is a cloudy weekend. Sunday will see more scattered clouds, though Monday will slowly get cloudier, and a high near 70 on Monday will make for another temperature whiplash that is somewhat uncommon for this time of the year. A low pressure system tracking much further north will likely introduce some colder air back into the area and as some showers to start off the week as well.
