Over the course of the weekend, Tropical Storm Ophelia is expected to make landfall in North Carolina and move northward, creating the very slight chance that its outer rain bands will affect Athens. There will also be the possibility that a low pressure will bring a slight chance of rain into our area around mid-week next week. Otherwise, expect partly or mostly cloudy skies over the weekend and sunny skies tomorrow as the high pressure starts to move out of our area.
